The Willows Swim Club is managed and guided by a dedicated group of volunteers—our Board of Trustees. Composed of seven members elected by our club’s membership, the Board plays an essential role in overseeing the club’s operations, making key decisions, and ensuring that the club continues to meet the needs and desires of its members.
Each trustee brings a unique set of skills and a shared commitment to maintaining the high standards of our cooperative community. Their work helps preserve the welcoming, family-oriented atmosphere that has made The Willows a beloved destination for over 60 years.

Doug Fitzgerald – President, Reelection for 2028
Doug provides leadership and direction for the Board of Trustees, ensuring the swim club operates in alignment with its mission, values, and long-term vision. He presides over board meetings, supports trustees and committees, and represents the club in official matters.

Chris Martin – Vice President, Pools, Reelection for 2028
Chris supports the President and Board of Trustees while overseeing all aspects of the club’s pool operations. He ensures the pools are safe, well-maintained, compliant with regulations, and enjoyable for all members.

Michelle Einstein-Green – Secretary, Reelection for 2027
Michelle ensures accurate record-keeping and clear communication for the Board of Trustees, maintaining official records, meeting minutes, and supporting transparent club operations.

Rami VanValkenburg – Recreation, Events, Camp, Reelection for 2027
Rami oversees the planning and coordination of the club’s recreational activities, special events, and summer camp programs, creating fun, engaging, and well-organized experiences for members of all ages.

Kristy Suh – Buildings, Reelection for 2029
Kristy oversees the care, maintenance, and improvement of the club’s facilities, ensuring everything is safe, functional, and welcoming for members.

Laura Winik – Membership, Reelection for 2028
Laura oversees the club’s membership process, welcoming new families, supporting member engagement, and helping ensure smooth communication and administration of membership-related programs.

Harmoni Hernandez – Grounds, Reelection for 2027
Harmoni oversees the care and upkeep of the club’s outdoor spaces, ensuring the grounds are safe, attractive, and well-maintained for all members. She also has the responsibility of coordinating the club’s work bond program.

Josh Shulman – Treasurer Liaison, non-voting member
Josh supports the financial operations of the Willows Swim Club and works closely with the Board of Trustees to ensure accurate financial management and transparency. While the role participates in board meetings and financial discussions, the position does not carry voting rights on board decisions.

Beginning in 2026, the Willows Swim Club will begin the process of outsourcing the club accountant position to a professional management company. This change will help ensure accurate financial oversight, streamlined operations, and continued transparency for our members.
